Amanda Hite serves as the Director of Community Employment at Independent Equality Solutions, overseeing Job Development, Job Coaching, Community-Based Assessments, and Career Exploration programs. Her work ensures that individuals receive high-quality, person-centered employment services that lead to real and lasting success.

Before joining IES, Amanda spent nearly three years at Pegasus Farm in Hartville as an Employment Specialist, helping individuals develop job skills and secure meaningful work. Prior to that, she worked for approximately two years at Koinonia Homes in career services, providing vocational supports and assisting people in preparing for community employment. She also gained valuable hands-on experience with REM, supporting men with autism through structured job coaching and employment readiness training.

Amanda’s background also includes nine years as Director of Recruitment for a nationwide rehabilitation company specializing in occupational and physical therapy staffing. In that role, she led interviewing, onboarding, and new hire training, developing a strong foundation in workforce development and professional leadership.

As a Certified Workforce Incentive Professional (C-WIP), Amanda brings deep knowledge of employment systems, vocational funding, and staff development. Her leadership combines strategic insight with compassion, ensuring that IES continues to set the standard for inclusive employment services throughout Northeast Ohio.
