Samantha Voshel began her career in the developmental disabilities field in 2012 as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), providing daily hands-on support and building meaningful relationships with the individuals she served. Her dedication and natural leadership quickly led to a promotion to Job Coach at Creative Living & Working Services (CLW) in 2014, where she worked alongside Malcolm Porter for three years. During that time, Samantha developed strong expertise in vocational support, community employment, and individualized service delivery, becoming a trusted advocate for those she supported.

In September 2018, Samantha joined Independent Equality Solutions as the agency’s first Job Developer, helping to build the foundation of what would become one of IES’s core service divisions.

Through hard work, integrity, and a deep belief in the mission of IES, she advanced to the role of President, playing a key part in shaping the organization into the thriving, multi-service agency it is today.

As a Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP), Samantha leads with a balance of structure and empathy, empowering both staff and the people IES supports to achieve lasting independence. Her journey from DSP to President reflects the heart of IES—building equality through opportunity, growth, and genuine care.
